Delete your account & data

This page explains how to delete your GameDay DJ Coach Account and the data associated with it, what is removed, and what may be retained. It applies to the GameDay DJ app on both iOS and Android, published by Zach Bowman.
Delete everything from inside the app (fastest)
- Open GameDay DJ.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Under Privacy & Data, tap Delete All My Data.
- Confirm. Your Coach Account and the data tied to it are permanently deleted.
You do not need an account to use the core of the app, so deleting your account leaves the app usable with the on-device demo team.
Delete only some data (without deleting your account)
You can remove individual items at any time without deleting your whole account:
- Delete a team, open the team, then use Edit Team → Delete Team.
- Delete a player, open the player, then Edit Player → Delete Player. Their intro audio and any parent claims on that team are removed too.
- Delete a recording or imported file, from the player or library where it was added.
Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email support@getgamedaydj.com from the email address on your Coach Account and ask us to delete your account. We will verify ownership of that email and process the request. Allow up to 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your Coach Account and email address.
- Your authentication tokens.
- Teams, rosters, player names, jersey numbers, song selections, and team settings you created.
- Microphone recordings and AI-generated intro audio associated with your account or shared teams.
- Parent claims and sharing links tied to your teams.
What may be kept
- Anonymous, non-identifying records, aggregate usage counts that are not linked to your identity.
- Records we must retain by law, for example, transaction/billing records required for tax and accounting. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play (or the App Store) and are governed by their respective terms; manage or cancel a subscription through your store account.
- AI intro audio cache, announcer audio our AI generates is cached on our US-based servers addressed by its content (a one-way hash of the voice and text), not tied to your account, and expires automatically within 90 days.
- Backups may take up to 30 days to fully cycle out after deletion.
Lineup-card photos
Photos you scan for roster extraction are processed in flight and are not stored on our servers, so there is nothing to delete.
