By downloading or using GameDay DJ ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Who can use this app

GameDay DJ is intended for adults (18+) acting as coaches, parents, or athletic directors managing youth sports teams. The app is not directed at children. If you are under 18, you may use the app only under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

AI-generated voice announcements

GameDay DJ uses AI voice synthesis technology to generate stadium-style announcer audio from player names and team information you provide. By using this feature you acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated audio is produced by machine learning models and may not always be accurate in pronunciation or tone.
• Generated audio is for personal, non-commercial use within your sports team only. You may not redistribute, sell, broadcast publicly, or use AI-generated intros in any commercial context without written permission.
• You are responsible for the player names, team names, and any custom text you submit for voice generation. Do not submit names, phrases, or content that is offensive, defamatory, or violates any law.
• AI voice generation sends text (player names, team info) to third-party servers for processing. This data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Recorded voice intros

GameDay DJ allows coaches and parents to record their own voice as a player's announcer intro. By submitting a recording you confirm that:

• You have the right to submit the audio (it is your own voice or you have permission from the speaker).
• The recording does not contain language that is offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate for a youth sports audience.
• Recordings are scanned on-device for prohibited content before being saved. We reserve the right to add or update prohibited word lists to protect the experience for families.

Music and song previews

Walk-up songs in GameDay DJ are 30-second preview clips sourced from Apple's iTunes catalog. These previews are:

• Licensed by Apple for in-app preview use only. They are not full tracks and are not available for download or permanent retention.
• Cached temporarily on your device to enable offline game-day playback. Cached previews expire after 7 days and are removed when you re-lock your lineup. This is required by Apple's content licensing terms.
• Not a substitute for a music streaming subscription. If you want to hear the full song, use Apple Music or another licensed streaming service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use GameDay DJ to:

• Generate announcer intros containing offensive, hateful, violent, or sexually explicit content.
• Impersonate real public figures, celebrities, or other individuals without their consent.
• Circumvent any technical limitation, subscription gate, or content moderation system in the app.
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable law, including laws governing children's privacy (COPPA) and data protection.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or extract AI voice models, audio assets, or API credentials from the app.

Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Coach Accounts that violate these terms, particularly the acceptable use policy above. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action except in cases of serious or repeated violations.

Subscription and in-app purchases

Subscriptions (Pro Monthly, Pro Annual) renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The 1-Week Pass is a one-time consumable purchase with no auto-renewal. All purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's payment terms. Refund requests should be directed to Apple.

Disclaimer of warranties

GameDay DJ is provided "as is." We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, that voice generation will be accurate, or that offline playback will work in all environments. Use the app at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GameDay DJ and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Apple App Store terms

The following terms apply to your use of GameDay DJ as distributed through the Apple App Store. These terms are required by Apple's Developer Program License Agreement and supplement the terms above.

Acknowledgment

You and GameDay DJ acknowledge that this agreement is concluded between you and GameDay DJ only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"), and that GameDay DJ, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and the content thereof. This agreement may not provide for usage rules for the app that are in conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions as of the effective date of this agreement (which you acknowledge you have had the opportunity to review).

Scope of license

The license granted to you for the app is limited to a non-transferable license to use the app on any Apple-branded products that you own or control and as permitted by the Apple Media Services Usage Rules. This license does not allow you to use the app on any Apple device that you do not own or control, and you may not distribute or make the app available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time. You may not transfer, redistribute, or sublicense the app and, if you sell your Apple device to a third party, you must remove the app from the Apple device before doing so. You may not copy (except as permitted by this license and the Apple Media Services Usage Rules), reverse-engineer, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code of, modify, or create derivative works of the app, any updates, or any part thereof (except as and only to the extent that any foregoing restriction is prohibited by applicable law or to the extent as may be permitted by the licensing terms governing use of any open-sourced components included with the app).

Maintenance and support

GameDay DJ is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services with respect to the app, as specified in this agreement or as required under applicable law. You and GameDay DJ acknowledge that Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the app.

Warranty

GameDay DJ is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app to you (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be the sole responsibility of GameDay DJ.

Product claims

You and GameDay DJ acknowledge that GameDay DJ, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app or your possession and/or use of the app, including, but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation. This agreement does not limit GameDay DJ's liability to you beyond what is permitted by applicable law.

Intellectual property rights

You and GameDay DJ acknowledge that, in the event of any third-party claim that the app or your possession and use of the app infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, GameDay DJ, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.

Legal compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Third party terms

You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app — including, without limitation, the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the terms of service of any music, audio, or other content provider whose content the app accesses.

Third party beneficiary

You and GameDay DJ acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement, and that, upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of this agreement, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
