Link a coach's team to your league
Coaches build their rosters in the GameDay DJ app on their phone. Linking connects that real team to the slot in your console so its roster, songs, and game-ready status show up under your league.
Where the share code comes from
In the app, the coach opens the team and taps Share. The link they share with parents ends in the team's share code: 8 letters and numbers. They can send you the code or the whole link; the Link team box accepts either.
Linking it
On Teams, find the slot and choose Link team. Paste the code or the link and confirm. The row turns Linked and its roster appears right away. It reads Game-ready once the coach locks the team in before their first game.
When it does not take
- "Code not found." The coach has not shared the team yet, or a character is off. Ask them to open the team, tap Share, and send the link itself.
- Linked, but no players. The coach has not built the roster yet. The roster fills in as soon as they scan or type it.
- A coach who also commissions links their own teams the same way; their own slot works like any other.
