What we store & how children’s data is handled

This app is about kids, so we treat their data carefully. Here's the plain-English version; the full Privacy Policy has the detail.

What stays on your device

Your roster — player names, jersey numbers, songs, recordings — lives on your phone. Nothing about a player leaves your device unless you choose to share the team or turn on cloud backup.

What syncs when you share

If you share a team or enable backup, the team's roster and audio sync through our own US-based servers so co-coaches and parents can fetch it. We don't sell data and we use no third-party analytics SDKs. Product-usage events are anonymous and tied to a random install ID — no name, no email, no retained IP.

A note on photos

We deliberately minimize children's data — for example, we removed the player-photo feature rather than maintain an inventory of kids' photos.

I deleted the app — can I get my roster back?

If you're signed into iCloud, your roster is backed up automatically — reinstall, sign in to the same Apple ID, and your teams restore on first launch. With a Coach Account you can also push a separate backup tied to your email from the Account tab.

Delete your account & data

Fastest path: Account tab → Delete All My Data. That wipes your local roster, cloud backup, account, and any analytics events tied to your install — immediately, no email required. Or write to support@getgamedaydj.com and we'll remove it within 30 days.
