Tournament mode — per-game lineups
Travel-ball weekend? Set a different batting order for each game without touching your master roster. Bench someone for the morning game, put them back for the afternoon — your season roster stays clean.
When you'd use this: a multi-game day or tournament where the order changes game to game, kids show up late, or you're rotating the lineup — and you don't want to rebuild the roster every time.
Set a lineup per game
-
1
Add the game
Create each game of the day. Each one carries its own lineup, separate from your master roster.
-
2
Set that game's batting order
Drag to reorder the lineup for this game only. Reorder for the next game independently — the two don't affect each other.
-
3
Mark who's in
Toggle each player Active, Bench, or Absent for that game. Benched and absent players drop out of the live board without leaving your roster.
-
4
Changes flow to Game Day live
Adjust mid-game and it cascades straight to the live Game Day session — no re-setup. When you scan a fresh card at the next game, we reconcile it against the roster you already have.
Troubleshooting
Did changing this game's order change my whole roster?
No. Per-game lineups are separate from the master roster. Reordering or benching for one game doesn't touch your season roster or any other game.
A kid showed up late — how do I add them back?
Open that game's lineup and switch the player from Absent or Bench to Active. They reappear on the live board in their batting slot right away.
I need to change the order in the middle of a game
Go ahead — edit the lineup and it cascades to the live Game Day session immediately. You don't have to restart anything.
Do I re-scan the card for each game?
Only if you want to. You can also just set the per-game lineup from the roster you already have. If you do scan a new card, we reconcile it against your existing players instead of making duplicates.
