Add a walk-up song to a player
Most walk-up songs come straight from the built-in catalog — no emailing, no importing. Open a player, search for the track, tap it, and trim it to the hype moment. Here's the whole flow.
Find and assign a song
- Open your team and tap the player to open their editor.
- Under Walk-Up Song, tap Add from Apple Music.
- Type the artist or song name in the search box and tap the result you want. That's it — the song is now assigned to that player.
Not sure exactly what you want? The search screen has a few other ways in along the top:
- Songs / Artists — search by track or pull up an artist's top songs.
- Vibe — pick a mood (hype, walk-out, chill…) and let us suggest tracks. You can also start from Pick by Vibe on the player screen.
- Popular — what other coaches are using most.
- Studio — your own saved songs and any audio you've emailed in.
Trim it to the hype moment
Right after you pick a song, the snippet editor opens so you can choose exactly which seconds play when the batter steps up. Drag the handles to land on the drop, the chorus, or whatever gets the dugout going, then save. You can come back and re-trim any time from the player editor.
Songs play as 30-second previews from the public iTunes catalog, so there's no music-streaming subscription to connect.
Give a player more than one song
Tap Add Another Song to stack several walk-up songs on one player. When a player has more than one, you'll get a Playback Mode control:
- Playlist — rotates through the songs in order, one per at-bat (tap Edit to drag them into the order you want).
- Random — picks a random song from the list for each at-bat.
Once every player is set, Lock In so the whole game plays offline on game day.
