Managing your player's walk-up from the web
You claimed your player and set their walk-up from your browser, no app needed. Here's how your picks get to the field, and how to come back and tweak them any time.
How your picks reach the coach
When you tap Save, your walk-up song, name pronunciation, and announcer voice save straight to the team. The coach's phone picks them up the next time their app opens, so anything you set tonight is game-ready by first pitch.
At the game, the announcement plays right from the coach's phone over the speaker. Nothing plays from your phone, and there's nothing else you need to do: when your player steps up, their moment is ready.
Change the song whenever you like
Go to GetGameDayDJ.com/claim on any device and sign in the same way you did before. You'll land on Your players, and one tap opens your player's page: swap the song, adjust the pronunciation, or try a different announcer voice. Every save reaches the coach the same way.
On your phone, the console fits your hand: My players lives in the bar at the bottom of the screen. Prefer the full big-screen layout? Open the Account menu and choose View full console; the Mobile view button brings you back.
Both parents get a say
A player can be claimed by more than one grown-up, so mom and dad can each sign in and shape the walk-up. When two of you edit the same thing, the most recent save is the one the coach receives. A quick text between saves keeps the dugout drama on the field.
If a song doesn't make the cut
Leagues and coaches keep game-day music family friendly. If a song you pick is on the team or league blocked list, we'll tell you right there in the picker. Grab the clean version or pick another song and it will play loud and proud.
What the app adds
Everything you've set from the browser is yours to keep. The GameDay DJ app adds the parts that need a phone: recording an intro in your own voice, custom intro scripts, and the full game-day sound. Sign into the app with the same account and your player is already set up and waiting for you.
FAQ
I saved a song but the coach doesn't see it yet.
The coach's app picks up changes the next time it opens. If game time is close, a quick "check the app" text to the coach does it.
Does any of this cost anything?
No. Claiming your player and setting their walk-up is free for families.
How do I fix how the announcer says the name?
On your player's page, spell the name the way it sounds (like "GAY-vin" for Gavin), check Announce it this way, and save. The announcer follows your spelling.
I claimed the wrong player.
Ask your coach to remove the claim from the team's members list, then claim the right player from the roster.
